The SightFirst programs, launched in 1990 by Dr. Ashok Mehta, then International President, assist blind people and contribute to the global fight against major causes of preventable and reversible blindness. I am proud to have been able to contribute to their funding in Africa.
Supported by clubs worldwide, in all districts of our geographical areas, our actions have benefited over 500 million people. An immense source of satisfaction for all Lions that we are.
For the sun to shine for everyone, we must be united and committed to serving the most vulnerable.
