On the evening of Saturday March 2, 2024, I was honored to be invited to the Gala Evening commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Cotonou NOKOUE club.
Accompanied by Elianne, we spent some very warm and fraternal moments with our Lions friends from Benin.
In addition to the joy of the reunion, several activities marked this beautiful evening. These included
– The renewal of the oath by the Lions of the Cotonou NOKOUE club.
– Presentation of Melvin Jones Fellowship plaques to generous donors to our foundation.
– The presentation of my certificates of appreciation to the Officers and Members present.
I was humbled to accept the gift of the Lions of Benin: a RECARDE, the traditional symbol of Leadership and Team Leader.
I reiterate my fraternal thanks to the Lions of Benin for the warm welcome and all the expressions of affection during my historic stay.
Happy to have parted, we are equally happy to meet again.
